How to get to Saigon?

As the largest city in Viet Nam country, you can travel to Saigon by any means of transfortation. For those who are far away, you can choose to travel by air plane or by train. For those who come from closer provinces, you should choose a bus, or go by motorbike to save costs.

Tan Son Nhat International Airport is the largest airport in the country, a stop for flights from all parts of the country.• Flying Hanoi - TP. HCM will take more than 2 hours. The ticket price ranges from 900,000 - 2,000,000 VND / one way.• Flying Danang - TP. HCM takes about 1 hour 30 minutes. Ticket price ranges from 550,000 - 1,700,000 VND / one way.Another advantage that the airport is less than 10 km from the center. After landing, you can move to District 1 with two main types of vehicles

By Taxi

Can be picked up easily outside the airport. Taxi prices go to the center about 100,000 - 200,000 VND / way. Or you can use car booking applications like Grab to get to the center for a cheaper price, from VND 70,000 / 2 people.

By Bus

Tan Son Nhat Airport currently has 4 bus routes into the city center.

• Route 109: Tan Son Nhat - Ben Thanh - 23/9 Park. Price 12,000 - 20,000 VND / time.

• Route 119: Tan Son Nhat - Western Bus Station. Price 12,000 - 20,000 VND / time.

• Route 159: Eastern Bus Station (Bến xe miền Đông) - Tan Son Nhat - An Suong Bus Station. Price 7,000 - 10,000 VND / time.

• Shuttle bus number 49: Tan Son Nhat - City center. Price 40,000 VND / time.

By train

If you have plenty of time, you can choose to experience the train. Saigon is the stop of many train routes such as North - South train, specialized cars running from Nha Trang, Da Nang ... The train price ranges from 200,000 - 1,000,000 VND / time.
